We decided to take Dad here for a mid week lunch and it was very enjoyable. I tried to book by e-mail the night before but they didn't have the booking and it didn't matter as they could fit us in. We sat at a...More

4 of us enjoyed a lovely lunch at The George on the Green in March. The service is very good and the food excellent value. They retain the atmosphere of a good village pub, while offering lovely food. Thoroughly recommended.

Great location - sat outside in the sunshine overlooking the green but the food was a poor average. The girls serving food were chatty and friendly but the guy behind the bar sniffy and disinterested. However the real shocker was the price - quick lunchtime...More

First time visit. Very busy on arrival but met and shown to our reserved table immediately. Staff excellent, very attentive. Good menu options supported by a specials board. Quick service, excellent food quality, pleasant surroundings. Will return and thoroughly recommend this venue.

Once again, I was told to meet up with 2 people called Dick and Marilyn at this disgusting pub/restaurant. I ordered fish and chips, the fish had been deep fried probably about 5 times, it was literally black in colour. I hate this pub, they...More

Once again, I have to respond to this ridiculous review. This two faced idiot actually states they 'hate our Pub' - but is 'forced' by their friends (probably not friends now) to visit a venue they clearly have a personal issue with. Then they make...More

Thinking of visiting with a relative in a wheelchair. What is the access and facilities like?
