Excellent Thai restaurant! Everything is well thought, amazing location at the southern tip of the island, places and various levels from the restaurant to the river shore where to relax and enjoy the view, delicious Thai food and friendly and professional owners.

The Thai food served here was outstanding - way better than the Thai food we had in Ko Samui a week later. Defitely recommended

During our cycling experience in Don Khon we stopped for lunch at Pomelo. Fresh ingredients nicely cooked and marvellous lime juice that saved us from dehidration.

As we stayed at the Pomelo Guesthouse, we had the great chance to have more than a couple of meals at the attached restaurant. And it has been marvelous every time ! The menu is quite restricted, but that's for some good reasons : it...changes every day, according to the local market offers ; hence offering fresh & local dishes, beautifully prepared and so friendly served. Prices are slightly higher that in the main village, but it's truly worth it !More

I found Pomelo on a long, exploratory bike ride around Don Khone Island. It's on the southern end of the island, near the old French Pier and dock where the motorboats leave to visit the dolphin pool. I enjoyed a mango shake on their deck...and then swam from their floating dock. It's a new place, and definitely not a budget place, but my impression just from spending a couple hours there is that it would be a really nice place to stay and you'd probably more than get your money's worth. The owners are a young couple, very welcoming and kind. Even if you don't stay, make a point of dropping in for a meal and a swim!More

A great example that a few really good dishes are better than a large but mediocre menu. I stayed for a week and every dish was better than the last. If you stay longer. Ask the hosts to order local cat fish for you, miau...:)More

We stayed at the attached guesthouse and very happily ate at Pomelo restaurant every meal every day. They restaurant offers a small menu of tasty, fresh meals with generous portion sizes for the price. We saw many people visit while riding around Don Khone and...highly recommend stopping in for lunch when in the area. You will be happy to meet the very friendly owners, have a good meal overlooking the best views in the island then continue on your way!More
