We ate here on a recent visit to Don Khone. We had three different curries although to be honest two of them were pretty indistinguishable. The mans were more like rôtis. It was passable

The best Indian restaurant on the 4000 Islands. Very clean place, good ingredients, friendly owners, good price, nice vibes all around.
I like Indian food very much , we ordered traditional vegetarian food , the food was too much spicy but o.k not more than that.
After eyeing out this place over a couple of days, we finally went in. Incredibly cheerful and friendly owner, decent grub, and charming surrounds
We didnt find a lot of lao smile on the island but yes we did over here! Thank you for the amazing food and also your kindness (also the father ...)...we give you a big warm hart
We arrived at the restaurant, looking forward to dinner after all the great reviews. There was one other table in and it still took an hour for our food to arrive. All 3 curry sauces- tikka masala, rogan josh a fish curry were the same...colour and flavour, though we had asked for different levels of spice. One of us ordered butter naan and got a chapatti, another a cheese naan but couldn't identify any cheese.... The fish curry was mackerel, unfortunately as much bones and skin as fish i could eat. We asked for rice and were bought out half a small bowl and told that they had run out. Really poor show.More
We spent a real pleasant moment at Nisha! The food is excellent (the naans are a must!) and the atmospher is great! We specially appreciated the kindness of the owner.
We came twice to the restaurant because we really enjoyed the food. They offer a set (we took the vegetarian) that is very abundant and delicious!
The dishes are tastful and great and the service is very good. The people are very friendly and the prices are very good.
We stayed in Don Khone for 7 nights, most of them ate at Nisha restaurant. We like indian food and tried in many places. Here it was one of the best! The owner Shaik was lovely - helped us alot! His got a gifted hands...for making south indian food. We tried most of dishes - all of them were very good! Don't miss!More

We've just come back from Nisha Restaurant and wanted to express how much we enjoyed the food. I ordered the vegetarian Thali which as you can see from the photo was plenty and included a nice variety of dishes, my wife had the tofu korma...which I tried and was also great, it's the only place we've been to in Laos so far where they actually fry off the tofu which to me is so much better. Such a great meal, really enjoyed the food and I believe it's also the cheapest meal we've had in all of Laos to!More
Surprisingly there are quite a few Indian restaurants in Laos -- and the food here is the best of the lot! Especially when you realise that it is basically one guy doing everything. One evening we were unable to eat there because he'd literally run...out of food; but the next night we ordered in advance - I think this also helped him to organise his time (there can be a bit of a wait if others are there before you). We ate there twice, and variously had chicken tikka, dal fry, channa masala, baigan bharta (aubergine)., bread and pulau rice. All was fresh, very tasty, and just the right level of spiciness. The guy is very friendly - and works so hard! Sometimes he has a helper, but not always.More
We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Aloo Chicken together with some Naan and it all was just delicious and fresh. One of the best Indian places in Laos! The owner was very welcoming and friendly. We'll come again!
