We called in for a quick coffee on a brief visit to Porthgain. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with the 2 pushchairs we had. Wish we'd stayed for food the menu looked fantastic. We settled for a piece of cake and coffee and both were lovely. Cannot fault it!

Try the house speciality crab sandwich at lunchtime. A great reward after a long hike across the headlands.

Having seen the excellent reviews we decided to come here whilst on holiday in Pembrokeshire. We certainly weren't disappointed! I had the catch of the day (brill) served with a delicious sauce vierge. It was incredibly fresh, cooked very well and simply, and was without the best fish dish I've ever eaten! My husband had fish and chips with haddock,... More

The cod and chips we ordered were fantastic, but once we'd had the starters and realised just how good the chef was, we wish we'd ordered something a little more sophisticated. We had the fish soup and the crab for starters - both were exquisite. The batter on the cod was perfect. The creme brulee for pudding had us sliding... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant over Easter and were lucky enough to get a table without booking. The food was delicious. Unfortunately they did not have gluten free chips but they were extremely accommodating and I had an amazing meal. I would definitely visit again!

We stopped here for drinks after the coastal path walk. Service was pleasant although a little slow. Drinks were a bit overpriced and the hot chocolate was just average. It's in such a great location, I think the exterior could have more of a wow factor.

This place is always busy and for good reason. Lovey position, friendly staff, fresh fish by the sea either batter or a la carte, (on this occasion we tried, the crab, whitebait, monkfish and the John Dory) and excellent puddings (Soused raspberries and Walnut tart). If we lived nearer we would come here more often as it is, it's a... More

Found ourselves at the Shed again at Easter though this time without a booking Managed to bag a table outside - it was pretty chilly but it's worth braving the cold for the best fish and child you will ever taste On this occasion we had bantered hake cid and sausages, mushy peas and fantasise homemade curry sauce - oh...
