From start to finish. A great menu. Great service. Friendly staff. We had steak and salad, beautifully cooked and balanced according to requirements. Haddock and chips. With a lovely batter. Well cooked chips. No silly ramekins packed with peas. A bloody great ramekin filled with...great tartare sauce. Just lovely. Thank you all.More

We ate here over the weekend, the staff were exceptional, friendly, informative and helpful. I would have given it 5 star if the wine was a bit more reasonably priced. £8.49 for a large Chardonnay I think is expensive. The food was excellent, tasty and...reasonably priced. Would I return? 100% YES Keep up the good work, the barman is an excellent ambassador for your business 👍More

Had many a cracking Sunday lunch here in the last few months since Lockdown ended. The staff are extremely professional and Tom, Rachel and Chris deserve special mention - all the staff are excellently trained. Love the burgers and the Whale and chips. Plenty of...other options available. Best to book in advance but are happy with walk ins.More

This was our 5th visit to the White Bull in the last 2 years and it was as good as every other time, service on point, I mean if you run a pub you should actually visit here just to see how it should be...done, the staff are amazing, they actually look like they love working here and it shows. Food was once again amazing, consistent and at a very high level. Can’t wait for our next visit, we’ll done to Chris, family and team, how every pub should be!More

I can’t say enough about the service we received from this place. All the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We had a late booking for 16 as it emerged that our original booking wasn’t as dog friendly as they initially said they were. The...pub accommodated 16 of us plus 4 dogs and we had our own private area. The food was spot on for lunch, the desserts were great but the service was fantastic. They also accommodated one of the children’s birthdays. Great place highly recommended.More

We visited The White Bull yesterday. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. One of the best things was the lovely landlord, he has a great sense of humour and was just the right side of friendly without being intrusive....The meal was absolutely delicious, better than the usual pub grub! Definitely recommend and will make a return visit!More

Came on an early dinner booking, we had a friendly welcome and straight to the table. All waiting staff were excellent, read the room well and were efficient. Manager was visible and involved. Happy staff, excellent service and superb food. Soup, pate, beef pie, Thai...chicken, cheesecake and Eton mess. Place was bustling when we left. Compliments to the chef and all the team. Definitely will be back.More
