I read something about The Queens Head being a Hidden Gem and serving Fish and Chips so off I went for a lunch time treat. It really is a Hidden Gem and the setting very lovely with a nice garden area and outside seating. The pub itself on entry has a wonderful feel and atmosphere. It was quiet busy and... More

My husband and I visited The Queen's Head Little Marlow with our dear friend last Saturday. She lives in Marlow and had heard good reports of The Queens Head but had never been there. It is described as Marlow's little secret, tucked away off the main Marlow to Bourne End road and the car park was already nearly full when... More

Have been before and this is a very pleasant backwater. A La Carte menu seemed a bit limited. Light lunch menu has good variety and nicely prepared good sized portions served. Board menu provided a good seafood casserole which was very tasty. French onion soup also good. Good range of sweets, again good quality and large portions. Friendly prompt service... More

We visited the pub Easter Monday, for a pre booked lunch. And all we got per person was two of the tiniest sandwiches and 6 wedges. Not worth the money we paid!

We have visited this Pub many times but on this occasion we were disappointed with the meal. The main courses were not hot and the plates cold. Vegetables appear to have been cooked and then reheated. The desserts were poor . The apple crumble was cold and had to sent back and reheated. The banana split less said the better.... More

My daughter and I enjoyed a splendid early dinner at The Queen's Head. The dishes were freshly prepared and not the usual pub suspects. The drinks and food were served with a smile. My beer was replaced without charge when I clumsily knocked over my glass. We have visited many times and will visit again.

Lovely pub with great food, but when your kitchen has a backlog, please don't tell customers their food will be served in "20 minutes" when it actually takes an hour....

We enjoyed our family get-together at this friendly and comfortable pub, which coped well with our table for 11. Our food was delicious and well-presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Located down a lane off the high street this really is a hidden treasure The ambiance is relaxed, the service unobtrusive and the food excellent. The food is predominantly English using local seasonal produce and good value for money. Highly recommended for a relaxed family meal. The village is also close to the Thames so it is easy to walk... Well cooked and presented food. Pleasant ambiance. Nice menu with a limited but less frequently range of dishes. Scallops , pea purée, black pudding , what's not to like. So good I did it myself at the end of the week. Hangar steak, a nice change for the main . Not quite on the mark with a chocolate red wine... More
