We went to the restaurant last week-end and the setting is magical. Our food was delicious and my lamb was outstanding. My picky teenager ate the ravioli in pumpkin sauce without a complaint - highly unusual. Our two desserts of crepes and chocolate cake were lovely and even though we were stuffed, they disappeared in minutes. A memorable meal.

Incredible tuna and sea bass entrees. Sashimi trio as a starter was beautifully presented (didn't get a picture). Chocolate tamal for desert was a wonderfully unique way to deliver a molten chocolate cake that is common to many restaurants. Magical ambiance!

If you want a special gringo-style upscale night with inspired ambiance. Go here. It's not a place that local people could afford to eat. We shared some teeny-sized appetizers and a dessert, just to enjoy the outdoor setting & its decor. It's beautiful. Dishes are tasty, but when I'm in Mexico, I prefer to eat where local people are eating... More

This was by far our most favorite place! I have eaten here several times in the past as well. The restaurant is set outside under trees and vines with beautiful lighting and ambiance. We ate here for my husbands birthday and they made a great dessert. I would recommend this to everyone I know! Absolutely love this place

I had dinner here last night and it was fantastic. It had been 5 -6 years since we were last here, but after last night, it will now be on our rotation,,,, it wad that good, I had the grilled Tuna seasoned with a wide range of peppers, sitting on noodles, mushrooms, pine nuts, etc... It was great quality tuna... More

Make sure you have time in your evening to enjoy this meal. The quality of the food is high but the service is slow. The restaurant was less than half full tonight ( on a Monday) not sure how it would be on a busy night. From the time we sat down until we left it was almost two hours!... More

Very intimate, with lovely fresh food and excellent service. Waiters are friendly and there are enough options on the menu that everyone in a group should be able to find something to their liking.

Across from the church. Nice courtyard, but poorly lit, so very dark by 7 p.m. in March, so it was hard to see to trim the fat off the rib eye steak. They really need to fix the lighting--maybe 4 or less persons should eat indoors. Presentation of food extremely attractive. One of us had the only lobster catch they... More

We went here for dinner on our first night as we happened to spot it while walking near the plaza in San Jose. The name means "antique boat" of which there are several on display in a small, lovely courtyard where we dined. The menu offered many choices, and we chose the local snapper with a big salad. Everything was... More

My mother had the best fish she's had in a long time. My steak was good. Huge portion. The lighting is very dark at night. They do a high end job on their presentation and cooking. The courtyard setting is very cozy, artsy, and trendy.
