After flying in, we asked the rental car agency for a recommendation on the best of Mexican restaurant nearby. They recommended Marciscos El Toro Guerrero. The staff was friendly and very helpful and patient with us as this was first time for us in Mexico...More

Marlin empanadas were great - if you’re vegetarian the pico de Gallo and guacamole were to die for. Prawn empanadas were just ok - best joint in SJDC for us

We so wanted to love this place as it came highly recommended by locals. The flash fried red snapper was a 5! Cooked perfectly! I asked if the scallops were fresh and the waiter told us yes they were. They were NOT fresh and were...More

Really wanted to shift from tortillas to seafood for dinner tonight. When we saw that Zagat had included El Toro Guero in their top 10 must eats, we had to dine here. I was quite surprised when I asked our server if the fish was...More

Plenty of tourists but also lots of locals because the food is delicious. The prices are fair and the service is great.

It was recommended by a local, I think they get some sort of an incentive to tell people to go there. Fair enough but not local feeling enough to be local but not commercial either. The shrimp party dish we had was pretty good but...More

The food is outstanding. Favorite are the Stuffed Shrimp. Yum, so large and tastes the best we have ever had. Staff are friendly and prompt to wait on you and a fun place to stop in and eat. Comfortable atmosphere. Always to when in Cabo...More

This is a small local restaurant that is frequented mostly by locals. It is exactly what we were looking for! Excellent, fresh, well prepared seafood at a very reasonable price. Several of us had the shrimp. There were 5 or 6 jumbo shrimp. No one...More

It's across the street from and open field. It's also located not too far from the main square. I was able to walk to it after getting off the bus in town. It was a 5-10 minute walk. Sorry not sure of any street names.

As far as I know, El Toro Guero is open 7 days a week. I don't know about Holy Week in April though.
