Visited Moreton Tearooms on Sunday 12th February with my wife and son. This cafe is a little delight. My family had a Dorset cream tea each and I had a slice of coffee and walnut cake. We each had tea to wash it down. The cafe is set in the village of Moreton which is somewhat off the beaten track... More

You won't be disappointed if you go out of your way to sample the cooked breakfast. Great ingredients simple and sublime. The tea rooms are themselves worthy of mention regarding the association with Lawrence of Arabia, visit to find out more.

Last day of holiday, fell in with the doors for a feed before leaving. Clearly very popular, with good reason. Well fed we left for on the looong drive home

Excellent local food and drink available in this delightful venue, which once served as the village school. Lots of memorabilia on display. The village itself is delightful, offering a lovely walk over a broad stream where the local children pale and fish. The Church hosted the funeral of T E Lawrence and Lawrence's grave can be visited in the Churchyard... More

Lovely tasty food, special afternoon tea, a savoury platter and sweet platter full to the brim. Tea and coffee on tap if needed, but our pot was big! Warm savoury scones, yum cream cheese and delicious home made chutney. Too much to eat so we were given a tray to take what we couldn't fit in home to munch later.... More

Our previous coffee visits were fine but lunch was not! Very basic menu "because we are not properly open" on 29th Dec.! We sat with coats on and asked if the radiator beside us was adjustable, to be met with a surly 'it should be alright. The schoolroom breakfast had been available from 11am and probably cooked then, and at... More

I'm sorry you had an unsatisfactory visit to the Tearooms last Thursday - a day on which, in fact, I was not working. Our shortened opening hours serving brunch, sandwiches and cakes have worked well over this and several previous Christmas periods. We have tried to advertise the restricted menu but I'm sorry if it was not to your liking.... More

Recommended by a friend while visiting Lawrence of Arabia grave. Beautiful little cafe. The food was excellent. Friendly staff. The walls covered with Lawrence memrobillia. Lovely place to relax.

We return every year on our way home from holiday, we do make sure we visit early to avoid the crowds. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas are delicious, always leave full, great tasty local food. Lots to see in the village too: church, graveyard, river: interesting place, full of history and stories: a MUST for anyone who likes querky, interesting... More

Recommended by our b&b in Wareham. A good Apple cake but we would have liked some cream. Do visit the church with beautiful etched glass windows and also the walled gardens which are run by a charity.

Glad you enjoyed your cake - we would have been happy to serve it with cream had you asked! More

Had tea and scones sitting in the garden on a nice warm day. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was really nice. Wish I lived nearer, I was down from Kent, visiting friends, otherwise I would be there every week!
