Decided to give this little neighbourhood pub a try for Sunday lunch. Good choice of veggies, good yorkie, fab piece of crackling although wasn’t overly keen on the pork belly which was a bit dry. Very friendly service , it’s only very small so not...More

The sunday roast we had was just excellent. I haven't had one that good in a pub for years, possibly ever before. Great service too. We will definitely be going back. Great spot for some walking nearby too, and set in a lovely little village.

We had supper here on Tuesday evening this week, absolutely lovely environment, professional staff, good menu. Food was lovely, delivered in a timely manner, not too pricey either. We will return!

We visited the Rose & Crown on a Saturday night in October. The service was good and the food tasty. The pub has a really nice, warm and cosy feel - perfect for winter evenings. We couldn’t fault it and look forward to going back.

Although the food was okay, my leek soup was tepid, bordering on cold, as was the cod loin. Soup was pretty flavourless. Liked the new décor, though.

My first visit to this pub/restaurant since it has been refurbished. It was very good. The three of us had a light lunch from a good selection of dishes followed by a delicious pudding. Both the lunch menu and the dinner menu looked very appetising....More

We went in march 2017 for my birthday. Parking really easy. Really lovely meal. I had steak cooked perfectly. My husband had fish. Quick service. Lovely meal.
