As a group of 4 we ate at the Casa Morelos in January 2017. The food was absolutely excellent, we all had something difference and each dish was wonderful. Our two servers, Sosa and Mariano were right there for anything you might need. Sosa was funny and sarcastic, which we enjoyed. We would definitely go back on our next trip... More

Once again we had a great meal. We visit Casa Morelos several times on each annual visit and the experience has been consistently great over the years. Javier (owner) is seemingly always present and insuring a great experience. We dined as a group of six and each of our entrees was outstanding. The service was flawless.

We met friends here for dinner. Great location, open air seating and accommodating wait staff. The wine was great. We both had fish (mahi-mahi and tuna) and it was delicious. I highly recommend the stuffed avocado too. We will go back for sure!

We returned for yet another excellent meal. Good margaritas. They conchinita pibil, a Mayan dish that you don't usually find on the west coast. Shredded pork in a delightful sauce. Only place in zih/ixt where you can find it. Great view of senor frog - dead but still open. Owner always on site. Highly recommend.

Tired of the hotel food? Wander across the street to the Plaza and have an outdoor seat at Casa Morelos. Ask for Sandro and be prepared for a great meal and time. We had ceviche and tamales for appetizers and both were very good. For main course we had whole red snapper and lobster tails. Both very fresh and some... More

During our four week stay in Ixtapa, we dined at Casa Morelos four times. Each experience was excellent. Javier is always present welcoming diners and stopping by your table to be sure everything is well prepared and delicious. Mahi Mahi served with Veracruzana sauce is my favorite preparation. it is so good. Javier is experimenting with some new ideas and... More
