Be sure to make a reservation on weekends during high season. They start with complimentary bread. We ordered the pate for an appetizer and it was VERY dry. Maybe is was the heel or end of the pate? The pickles and mustard with the pate were nice. The nicoise salad was good. The mussels were over cooked but the fries... More

We wanted to head off our vacation resort for dinner. The service was exceptional; attentive, their English was among the best spoken in Ixtapa. The menu selection was wonderful. We had the mussels (special of the day) and they were so delicious. Very romantic, the restaurant is open air patio and the breeze off the ocean with the setting sun... More

We have never been to the same restaurant twice during a 1 week vacation until now. Bistro Soleiado was fabulous. The menu was interesting, the food was delicious, the service was great, the prices are reasonable and the live music delightful. Highlights included the pate, Chicken Tagine and you have to finish the evening with the profiteroles. Thank you for... More

We dined here twice last week. Prices are great, and the food is excellent. Service is as good as you will find on the strip to. Six of us went the first time. We told others how well it was. Twelve went the second trip. No one had a complaint.

My husband and I happened to stop at Bistro Soleiado for dinner and were impressed. We should have reservations but it was 6:00 so they were able to seat us. I selected the manicotti which was one of the best I have enjoyed and my husband had the pork tenderlion and that was delicious. We shared a bottle of wine.... More

Not an ocean view, but plenty of outdoor seating in a very pleasant setting. Soleiados can be easily identified by the miniature Eiffel tower in front. The menu is diverse , including fresh fish, delicious pasta dishes(try the linguini with mussels), French fare, and wonderful desserts. The service usually spot on, but a bit slower this year as the restaurant... More

We have been to Ixtapa 3 times. We almost gave up on a good restaurant until we tried this place. My husband had Tuna and I had Red snapper. Both dishes were excellent. An apple pastry for dessert was delicious. The service was very attentive. A bonus to the evening was great mellow music. We will be back!

My husband and I were returning from the main shopping area in Ixtapa and decided to try this for lunch. What a great lunch. We shared the tuna tartare which was excellent, as well as the gazpacho. I had a red snapper fillet with vegetables and rice. The fish was grilled and seasoned perfectly with a tasty garlic oil and... More

This restaurant seems to have developed a good following. Two years ago you could walk in to the place and get seated w/o reservations, not even asked if you had one. Last year and again this year, there seemed to be quite a few reservations. We always go early enough that we do not have a problem getting a table... More
