Bad waiter. Slow service. Dont go there. Big disapointment. Food was below average. Loud music. Beware. Tourist trap.

I also reviewed La Malinche (one of my two or three favorite restaurants in Ixtapa) in 2015 and I was looking forward to my visit again this year. The location is pleasant, but I loved (preferred) the murals on the walls and the warm, happy...More
Great seafood soup, salad, fish verecruzana and margaritas. Large portions fast service and the entertainment was excellent.
La Malinche has moved to a larger and beautiful new location in the Ixtapa marketplace. The food and margaritas have always been good, and now the ambiance matches this same high standard. I have seen some complaints about slow service, but this is Mexico, people...More

While the service was a tad slow, the food was amazing and they had a great family band playing that made the atmosphere lovely. I had the tortilla soup and surf & turf tacos (which was so delicious), the other meals at the table were...More
