This was our first stop in our road trip visiting the South of Mexico. This place look quite elegant and service is really good. There are plenty of different options in the menu, from entrees to main dishes, and desserts. Have to admit the Spanish options were not the best I've ever had (were still very good), but we loved... This is a traditional and elegant restaurant in SLP, at an antique house from the beginning of the 20th century. Neat decorations, simple, but elegant, with white tableclothes and everything in place. Specially to enjoy Spanish dishes. Good service. Medium range prices. Recommended for dinner.

this is a classic, old world style, dining excursion with elegant service and excellent food. I had the pork shank and the meat literally fell of the bone. A knife was not needed. If you enjoy a quiet, old fashioned dining room, attentive service and classic Mexican and Continental dishes this is a must i San Luis Potosi.

Went on a Sunday with a reservation for 5:30 (it closes at 7). Arrived early (5). Sat immediately in the entry dining room (restaurant has several side rooms). Band was playing (5 people) too loudly. When they finished a pianist started in the bar area which was far nicer. Service is good but we felt rushed, maybe due to the... More

It is a Spanish restaurant that has more than 20 years and still is one of the best in the city. The food is delicious and the attention is awesome. I recommend it also because is close to the center of the city.

First day in San Luis Potosí and our first restaurant. It was a good choice thanks again to Trip Advisor. Waiters in black bow ties did not miss a thing. My wife had aged beef. I asked our waiter to surprise me. I had perfect salmon. Never tasted better. They made a special pasta for our daughter. The house wine... More

This is a question of preference and not always a negative but to me Gran Via is stuck in the past. It would be my grandfather favorite restaurant. The setting has some caché and with some tweaks could be perceived as boutique while being of timeless elegance. The food was comforting but also very much from 30 years ago. Even... More

I loved the food here! The atmosphere is elegant and there were lots of businessmen. The paella was great as was the fish with shrimps and dressed with a creamy sauce, delicious, though cannot remember the name. The basket of bread was soft but be careful with the sauce as it has jalapeño peppers and it was really hot. Service... More
