Went for a Sunday afternoon meal with friends....everything was perfection. The bar staff were very welcoming on arrival ...the dining room staff were also very attentive..The food was excellent absolutely No complaints whatsoever.. Would certainly recommend to our friends.

Menu and wine list are decent. Good get more local and organic. Sommelier is a friendly guy. The head of the restaurant is good too. They need more space to have a drink in if you are not eating.

Passed the clean test with flying colours - one of the cleanest places to say - according to my rigorous test - over and above most other hotels / stays of late. Excellent restaurant. Excellent cheese board. A good bar. Stray music into the room...More

Always busy so make sure you book. The food is superb and the atmosphere either in the pub or restaurant is lovely. It has a deservedly good reputation.

These guys not only do great food they also do great customer service as well. Ate here twice in three days and had the haddock one day and the soufflé another day. Both excellent!! Really great and friendly. Adam and John were great!!

I've taken my dog into the bar area at night, to eat, several times. He has always been made most welcome, no problem at all. I don't know if he would be allowed in the more formal restaurant area, as I actually prefer to... More
