We eat here on Saturday mornings and Monday nights during our stay in Nuevo. We go with a group of friends so that is partly the reason for us going. I have read some reviews and agree the service can be "iffy" at times. But that is part of the dining experience in Mexico and not unique to this restaurant.... More

Visited for breakfast. This restaurant fronts a small Marina so views are good. It is beside the dolphin shows . Lots of staff so service is good. The breakfast was just okay. The spinach omelette was full of onions and quite thin. My wife's ham and eggs was fair. We also ordered a waffle and the surprise is that it... More

Group of nine friends for dinner. Monday night shrimp night. Choice of two shrimp dishes plus one fish special plus the full menu. Loud saxaphone music when we arrived, maybe with one other instrument. Replaced later in the evening by a great woman on keyboard. Apparently she usually also sings but did not last night. Nice setting overlooking the marina.... More

This place is awesome. The breakfast has great French toast. They also have the best shrimp burger. Don't go there if you are in a hurry. its a slow cook restaurant but so worth the experience.

We have been enjoying great food and beverages at this marina-side restaurant and art studio for about ten years. Our return tonight, two couples for a 6:30pm reservation (NOTE: typically gets booked) did not disappoint. Three of us had the Coconut Shrimp special which included a delicious mushroom/spinach soup. The entree was eight big shrimps prepared perfectly and served with... More

This is a great restaurant! Hidden gem. Walking distance from Grand Mayan via the beach, or short taxi ride. It's right on the marina, all outdoor covered. Very small kitchen, very limited staff. Be patient when you come, may take a while to get a seat and put in your order, and the food is cooked to order. It says... More

We return to Estudio Cafe many times during our annual visit to Nuevo Vallarta. Sitting on the Marina, looking at the many boats, sipping on Champaign and Bloody Marys, waiting for the "Slow food preparation" - not at all bad. The French Toast is the very best - the Bread comes from downtown PV bakery - fresh daily. Omelets, eggs,... More

In the mood for a light dinner. Had an excellent vegetable soup and the house salad ( bit oversalted) with banana split and mango mousse for dessert. A real shame that they were out of the apple crepes. Good service.

Description
We take pride in feeding both body and soul since the year 2000. Charming family ambiance with a splendid view of the marina, surrounded by art. Meeting point for artists, writers and thinkers. AAA rated 2 diamonds. Look us up in the Mexico Tour Book. Home cooked family recipes. Strictly fresh, natural ingredients, preferably organic, cooked in traditional, no-nonsense ways. We adhere to the "slow food" movement for proper cooking and enjoying. During high season (October through April), we serve breakfast , lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday we serve breakfast and lunch only. In low season (May to July) dinner is not served. We close August and September.
