This joint is a find. Good food. Pleasant (as usual) staff. Good prices. Try the shrimp cucuracha and their aquachiles. Tasty carne asada grilled over WOOD!!! Ask someone at the front desk to call a cab (unless you are lucky and there is a cab driver eating there). Get out of your resort and enjoy the local stuff. Check the... More

While staying at the Hard Rock Resort, we had the opportunity to explore the local area with a great local guide (gracias, Nacho!) and found this jewel of a local restaurant tucked away on a side street in Jarretaderas. Super seafood and meat options! The 'camarones con salsa' were some of the best I've ever had and my son loved... More

If you love shrimp, you will like this restaurant. Definitely not a touristy place. Locals, families, we were the only tourists in the open air restaurant. My husband loved the food, I thought it was good but not the best. We both had fish but it's known for shrimp, piled high. Very inexpensive and charming.

Dined here a couple nights ago on the recommendation of some folks we met. Really wanted a LOCAL place to eat. A short taxi ride from Paradise village to a place we thought was in the middle of nowhere. Outdoor seating with some stray cats that spooked my wife ( owner apologized -- says he hates cats too and can't... More

We've gone here for years and it's consistently great, fresh, well prepared, delicious food. I highly recommend the cucarachas shrimp dish and the whole red snapper but then again everything on the menu is great.

If you are looking for the real taste of local food, this is one of the best places to go. The restaurant is very simple, but the food and the service are the best. Portions are big and tasty. My favorite Camarones a la Diabla, spicy and yummie! The mahi mahi is very fresh and delicious Fried fish is out... More

This is a little off the beaten path, but worth the taxi ride. Fresh seafood. The seafood soup was outstanding, the small size was more than you can eat, we took our leftovers in a to go box and had it for lunch the next day. The grilled shrimp, we got medium heat spice, which was spicy, the shrimp was... More

Mahi Mahi with veggies wrapped in foil and cooked on the grill soooo delish. You have to try the ice cream made out of corn and served in a husk so creamy and addictive. Highly recommend but go early. They don't stay open very late.
