Just been to Ola Mulata, never again. Staying on the resort ( Grand Bliss), so we decided to eat at Ola Mulata. Beautiful setting with great sea views. Service was slow. Ordered the fresh shrimp as we were told by the waiter that they were fresh, & would be grilled. We ordered 1kg shrimp ( for 2 persons). When we... More

Great fish tacos and burgers, wonderful place for lunch. Walk over from the beach or pool for grilled fish, margaritas and people watching. Service is friendly and relaxed.

Excellent snack bar with a grill for specialities, best location rigth on the beach, marine breeze and beatiful landscape, personal attention if the waiters kind of slow.

I could eat here every night. Technically this is the "snack bar" at Grand Mayan pool but it has great food and surprisingly good prices for a hotel restaurant. Portions are very big so it's easy to share. And it has a perfect sunset view over the beach. Fish tacos and fish sandwich are awesome! I wouldn't normally eat chicken... More

It's amazing how many people we talked to around the pool that were unaware of the option of picking out your fresh fish (or shrimp) and having it cooked over charcoal to your specifications. It's served with a salad and rice. And, you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets while feasting on this yummy meal.

Head on shrimp steamed in garlic and oil. Probably the best shrimp I've ever had. Suck the head and savor the intense flavor.

We ate here on our last day and wished we tried it earlier in the week. The service was good and the fish tacos are a must. If I knew about the fish tacos earlier I might have had them for lunch all week!

We stopped in several times during our stay for a fish taco snack in the afternoon. They were awesome! Cool setting right not he beach under umbrellas. The service was always pretty fast and the beer was always super cold. Hard combo to beat: ice cold beer and tasty fish tacos!

They let you pick out the fresh fish or shrimp, and then cook it on a charcoal grill. Then you pick out the seasoning you like. Try the diablo sauce! They also have a menu to order from. Good fajita quesadillas! The service is outstanding!

After a day of lounging and playing at the beach at the grand mayan resort this restaurant was a very good option. Service was fast and very friendly. The food was great as the four of us each had a different item from the menu. If you are staying in this complex it is well worth the stop.
