Lovely old Pub spoilt by over pricing. 3 sausages and a spoon of mash £14 ?... Shame Nearly as bad as the Peacock in Bakewell.

A venue which on a random Sunday lunch visit last year was brilliant; followed by another random unplanned visit for lunch some months later which was satisfying and this time, a mediocre Sunday lunch which has spoilt it all. Starters were average. If you're serving...More

Lovely restaurant. Enough space between tables facilitating a pleasurable dining experience. Nicely cooked and presented food and plenty of it. Waitress Karen was attentive, cheery and knowledgeable. I would be very happy to eat there again.

I have just paid £18 for two sandwiches (one cheese one ham) and soft drinks. I must be daft! The sandwiches were worse than any super market's. The garnish salad had (small) bits of crayfish in, obviously contaminated with another dish on menu. The service...More
