Great selection of beer, wine, whiskey. Good food fare too! Regular live music, of course usually Irish. Always stop there at least once or twice when visiting Banff.

We really enjoyed this Irish pub. I had the fish and chips which was really good. It is a really cool atmosphere. Was a little loud when we were there. Prices were reasonable.

Terrible experience, the most rude waitress (the female manager was just as bad) I have ever come across. Literally banging our drinks down on the table, made us feel so unwanted in the pub, needless to say we left after one drink. I am not...More

I went there as a diner. I saw some children with their families. We were there at a family dining time around 6:00/6:30 pm.

The authenticity of the imported Irish woodwork and fantastic artifacts make St. James Gate one of the premier Irish Pubs in the world.
