Food wasn’t great and there wasn’t anything Irish about the breakfast. Unfortunately the bacon was missing and we had to remind them of this. The waiter was apologetic and the service was good. I think this place is probably better for drinking as opposed to eating.

We were in Banff for a couple of nights and stumbled across the pub with my wife and friends. The pub is big but has a great atmosphere, our servers were friendly and chatty. The Fish and Chips were good, rather than a traditional beer...More

A pleasant evening with a few beers, nice food & entertainment. What else would you expect from an Irish bar.

I went there as a diner. I saw some children with their families. We were there at a family dining time around 6:00/6:30 pm.

Our story begins in Ireland. Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, St. James's Gate, established in 1996, was built and manufactured in Dublin, Ireland. The authenticity of the imported Irish woodwork and fantastic artifacts make St. James Gate one of the premier Irish pubs in the world. The Gate has a warm friendly atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. Rub shoulders with local residents and tourists from around the world. The bartenders are friendly and prepare the drinks with care and consideration and the staff proves just what a capable & fun group of servers is worth. It's everything an Irish Pub should be.
