I was hesitant to go... I'm not much of a hiker and the idea of climbing 1,300ft above Lake Louise was NOT appealing. That said, my husband had visited the Lake Agnes Teahouse when he was a child and wanted to experience it again. We...More

Yes, the crowds are onmipresent, and the trail leading to Lake Agnes isn't the best in the area, but the falls and the tea house at the foot of Lake Agnes remain one of the best destinations in the Lake Louise area. Enjoy tea and...More

You feel a sense of achievement hiking up to this popular tea house and rewarding yourself at the end with a choice of soups, sandwiches, tea or cakes. There is no electricity here so the darkness inside adds to the atmosphere and the amount of...More

The hike up to Agnes was great. Listed at 3.7kms it sure felt shorter than that. We made it up to the tea house early which paid off. People started to flood in as we were leaving. The tea was decent, but the service was...More

This was a very cool place, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. When we went, they closed early so we booked it up the hill in 40 minutes. I don’t recommend that haha. Bring water for sure and give yourself lots of time for the hike....More

What a great spot for a nice cup of tea with a magnificent mountain backdrop. We really enjoyed being in this special loxation which is 3.8km from the chateau at Lake Louise. Mind you, it is a relatively sreep walk up to the teahouse but...More

WE had to "take out" from the teahouse as there was not a seat to be had. It was chaos trying to skulk around sleuthing for a seat - no hostess or other person to offer any help. "take Out" was a server popping out...More

The tea house is a good stop before or after hiking to the Beehive. We decided to stop after. It was pretty crowded but that is to be expected. Grabbed a table inside, but they do have outdoor seating. The views are amazing if you...More

Sorry I am not sure but if you contact them directly they do get back to you. I had asked about if they except reservations ( they do not ) and she called me back with a day.

"Its a seasonal teahouse (like the Plane of 6 glaciers teahouse, which is listed on TripAdvisor), located on Lake Agnes in the Lake Louise area. A 2.5 mile hike brings you to this amazing little historic hut, perched on the rim of a cliff and looking over a lake to The Beehive and mountains beyond. So incredible to stumble across. Whats wonderful is that they have over 100 kinds of teas, good sandwiches and soups, and quite a selection of baked goods (gluten-free included!)".
