This is the best shawarma. The wrap isn't too thick but it doesn't fall apart. The sauce here is the best. And, in my opinion, the most important part: the falafel isn't a factory made dough ring, this is the real deal.

I've had both chicken and falafel wraps here and they are the best I've found in the city. Very generous portions, fresh and delicious vegetables, toasted so the wraps are crispy on the outside and chewy and delicious. CONS: expect a five-minute-ish wait because it's made... More

I have tried Mazaj's dishes many times and everytime I find the quality still the same, if not better, something that you may not experience it in other restaurants

I used to eat here quite frequently. I can honestly say they have the best falafels I've ever eaten. The vegetables are all fresh and wraps are grilled perfectly. I've never had anything quite like this before and would probably eat here everyday if I could.

I've recently discovered a love for Donairs/Shawarma pita's thanks to Olly Fresco's opening up in Bow Valley Square earlier this year. I've tried a few different places since then and so far there are a few standouts, all for different reasons. My favorite for overall flavor and texture is Mazaj. Right along the c-train line across from the Bay and... More
