Myself and my boyfriend who's from out of town decided to check out Anju for some Korean food (our favourite). The atmosphere was beautiful, with unique/modern decor. For appetizers we split the tempura mushrooms and spicy scallop sashimi. Both very good, great presentation. For mains I had the dolsot bibimbap, which was delicious. He had the kimchi fried rice and... More

We hosted guests from out of town, and decided on Anju. 1 hour before needing to eat, they accommodated my request for a reservation - Which was awesome! (On a busy holiday) The waitress was eager to share, favorites and suggestions as we carefully constructed our order. We needed alot of guidance. The amount suggested was just perfect and was... Anju is located right downtown in one of the hottest neighborhoods in town, with incredible, innovative food, a really diverse wine list and a beautiful dining room. But somehow it's a place you can always get a seat or a reservation. I go every year for my birthday - the menu changes a little every time I go, and every... More

First, a word of caution, when they tell you that the dip for the seaweed wafers is hot, they aren't joking. It's like wasabi mustard ghost pepper oil. I almost died. You should try it. Had a quick beer, with the wafers, brussel sprouts and mushroom tempora. All of which were great. I want to head back and have a... More

Cannot miss it! Food selection touches Korean culinary tradition interpreted in a modern style - great atmosphere & service.

Our second visit, we visited for brunch when they first opened. Beautiful presented meals and they tasted amazing. Our group tried two eggs benny, pancakes and the breakfast hash. All were amazing as were the ceasars and mimosas!

The ambience is lovely, but loud, and service is great. We ordered the sashimi salad, beef tataki, kimchi, oxtail tortellini, and custard dessert. First dish took over thirty minutes to arrive. The food was tasty, but after four dishes and dessert I was still hungry. Very pricy for what you get. Fun to try, but not sure I'd go back.

I've been here a few times. Last time I had what I thought was just going to be a burger. It was amazing. Quality food and nice fusion. They do drinks very well also.

This was our first time to eat at Anju and I have to say we enjoyed it. We went for brunch on Sunday so I'm not sure how different the menu is for dinner. We enjoyed the experience so we're going to try again. I'm sure the small plates will offer more choices for dinner. It is a good place... More
