Great fish and chips. Have opened one in Okotoks too but I haven't tried the okotoks one. It has a British theme and the place is small and crowded but still really good food.

Love the fish and chips from British Chippy. Fish taste like fresh, and they come with a huge side of fries. Staff is super friendly, it's nice to have it in my neighborhood.

My wife and I called in here for lunch and enjoyed their haddock and chips with mushy peas. As with their Okotoks location, the Calgary restaurant serves chips (fries) that are cut from real potatoes and not reconstituted frozen fries. The haddock was lightly battered and nicely fried. It is so nice to have a full sized fillet of haddock... More

Fresh haddock shipped in from Alaska. Large serving. Delicious golden fries. Patio seating in a converted house. Calm, relaxing, and well done!

Went to the British Chippy earlier this week with 3 Seniors and our Aunt and Uncle. Wonderful staff and food was great as well. Everyone had the fish and chips and my parents from Nova Scotia really liked it and they are picky about their fish :-) Even though there were 7 of us, the food arrived together and was... More

After visiting the Lake District in UK for four consecutive years I became very adept and somewhat, actually quite a lot, picky about fish and chips, so what if I tell you there is only one place near Lancaster that goes shoulder to shoulder with this Calgarian establishment. Make yourself a favour and find out yourself.

Me and my partner recently visited this restaurant for a take out order of fish & chips + battered sausage & chips with a side of mushy peas. Unfortunately we were less than satisfied. Firstly, the quantity of chips was average at best considering the $15.95 price tag; the chips taste however, was ok. Secondly, the battered sausage was cooked... More

The restaurant was busy, filled with the smell of grease and seemed short staffed. People were waiting a while to be seated and served. They can accommodate 28 people total but if two people are occupying a booth that could seat 4 then the number of availabe seats is much less. The take out orders seemed to be filled faster....
