This bakery has sensational goodies. You can take them out or eat indoors or out on the patio. Fresh ingredients. Well balanced flavours. Beautiful baking. What's not to like? It is a busy place with lots of traffic and noise. Next time I take hubby for coffee and cake after a long walk by the river.

This is an authentic French bakery with all the deliciousness you would expect. Great coffee. They are closed on Mondays.

We had heard from a few locals that this is the place to go for French pastries. I wanted to take some Macaroons home for my daughter. The parking lot was quite full and lots of people eating there. The line to order wasn't too bad and we were greeted upon entering. We ordered 2 napoleons, one hazelnut and the... More

4th street has a lot to offer including La Boulangerie for lunch or just a quick cup and a side of something sweet. Price is average, staff is always friendly.

We were in the neighbourhood one morning and decided to try out the pastries and coffee. Both were good -- but not exceptional. The restaurant was very busy - so it was hard to find a place to sit. Overall an okay experience. I would try them out again.

These folks care. The Mushroom Soup is to die for. Coffee is wonderful. And they treat you so nice. My daughter loves the banana bread which she takes to work for part of her lunch. This is my favorite place from my almost 6 week visit to Calgary. Calgary works.

I took an overseas visitor here yesterday for a light lunch while we were on 4 th Street . We ordered 2 crepes. The Capresse crepe and the Brie and roasted pepper crepe. They were presented to us as a stodgy crepe on a plate, no side garnish ( a sprig of parsley goes a long way and is cheap)... More

If you are a lover of croissants.. Or French pastries for that matter, then look no further than this little bakery & Cafe in Mission. They have a super wide variety of croissants that are outta this world such as the usual suspects, plain, chocolate, almond and cheese; plus others more unique - green tea! Vanilla custard! Hazelnut! Blueberry! And... More

I don't like their coffee and the baguette I bought once was very hard. But many pastries are quite tasty, for example the one with dark chocolate and orange. So even if I don't like everything, I go there for the things I like.

While out and about, I stopped in at La Boulangerie on 4 St. I enjoyed their food when they were at the Market on Macleod, and still love stopping in. They do a lot of very wonderful fancy baking, but I really needed a Paris fix, and just had a simple croissant and coffee. Much cheaper than airfare, and just... More
