Had a group business lunch here and, overall, pleasantly surprised, as I went in with fairly low expectations. It's a bit too noisy for business, as it was hard to hear everyone. Good service. All the dishes were beautifully presented. My butternut squash soup was tasty, but only lukewarm. The short rib was excellent. I tried some of my colleague's... More

Was there for lunch and the service was excellent. Our table was never left waiting which was great. Staff were friendly and efficient. I tried the modern bowl with salmon and it was cooked perfectly and felt like a good light summer dish with fresh flavours. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals.

Took my adult children out for a meal here, as my wife enjoys their lunch menu, and I hadn't been in a Cactus Club in over 20 years. The menu is broad, and well mixed, I had the Cajun Chicken, and it was prepared perfectly. Taste was dead on, service was pleasant, and the price points were OK too. Overall... More

We have always had good food and service here. I love the Rocket Salad and the Ravioli. It is a little on the noisy side though.

I'm a bit baffled why this place was crowded when we stopped here for a drink and appetizers. It's okay but not outstanding in any way. The food and drinks were fine, nothing special. We sat at the bar and ordered and ate there. The bartender was professional but didn't smile or make us feel welcome at all - we... More

Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday and the restaurant was crowded...a good sign. We were greeted promptly and led to a window table. Our server was friendly, professional and efficient, and our food came out within 15 minutes of ordering. My daughter had the quesadillas and she said they were very good. I opted for the Feenie burger and... More

LOve this place and the one way up in the northeast is even better. I have been to the Cactus Club at least a hundred times and I have never been disappointed. Great food and great service.

I went with a few girl friends for dinner here. We made reservations, so we didn't have to wait. The service was extremely slow, but the food is always good. I had the fajita's and they were wonderful. One of my friends had the burger, and had to send it back because it was too rare for her, eventhough she... More

I was looking for a convenient place to meet my brother for a late lunch the other day since I was on the west side and he was headed to the airport. Why not try something near Chinook? We arrived about 2:30PM and had only an hour to spare. The lunch hour rush had long gone but there were still... More

Description
Located only a block away from the Chinook Center, Calgary’s most popular mall, the Macleod Trail Cactus Club is in the middle of the action. The restaurant has won awards for “Best Patio in the City” - not surprising when you consider the luxurious fire feature that is one of only two in the company. In addition, the location boasts both award winning service and the culinary genius of Canada’s only Iron Chef, Rob Feenie.
