Hands down the they make best dim sum in Calgary. Little pricey compared to other places buts it's worth every penny.

Whenever my girlfriend's family comes to town we go here. It has become our dim sum place and is quite consistant. Always a lineup on the weekend so plan to come early and go get groceries at T&T in the meantime.

We were guests taken out to the Forbidden City, a classic chinese restaurant, in an asian themed mall. There were many chinese guests who seemed to really enjoy the dinner. The wine list was quite modest and the house white was fairly sweet. Our host ordered for all of us and we had many great dishes. The Ginger Beef was... More

Agree with reviewer below - you may need to know your dim sum as their ordering menu has no pictures, and some is in small print. But, what did arrive was very tasty from steamed shrimp dumplings, rice rolls and spareribs; mango pudding; ample portions. They also have a full menu to order from instead. Accommodating service though a bit... More

If you know what to order off the menu, than you will have a very pleasant dining experience. However if you have never had dim sum before, this may not be the place for you. I would recommend a dim sum restaurant that has carts. Overall the food here is good. The staff are helpful and quick to serve, although... More

Very tasty Dim Sum dishes, pricing is above average, service is good and lots of Dim Sum selection. Authentic style Chinese dishes for dinner that you would enjoy.

Visiting from Vancouver, BC, the dim sum here was a little bit lower quality than what I'm used to and the portions were smaller as well. We were able to get a table for 4, while larger groups were waiting outside. The traditional push carts have been replaced with an order sheet. You would have to go with their description... More

There are no food carts at this dim sum restaurant. You place your orders by checking the dishes you would like on a menu, and the dishes all come out freshly made. We thoroughly e.njoyed the dishes we ordered, like steamed shrimp ducklings, shrimp and pork shu mai and egg tarts, to name a few. Would definitely come back here... More

It has been a number of years since we have been to the Forbidden City for dim sum. It was a Sunday morning and the place was packed. We were given an electronic buzzer when we checked in as no tables were available. This is a handy device as you can browse the mall instead of sitting in the chairs... More
