Got the mixed shawarma plate. Pretty average overall. The serving size is definitely generous but the meat was very cold. The owner is nice and gave a free baklava with the plate. The place itself is clean too.

Loud music but when i asked the young woman if it could be turn down she immediately did so -and she did it with a smile. I had a Chicken Shawarma - it was really good. At only $10.00 it's a very good deal.
Great service and food. Love their HUGE portions--two meals out of one sandwich! I've eaten most things on the menu--and nothing disappoints.
This little restaurant is on Stevens in the central district. In any other location it would be very good but by comparison to the wonderful restaurants in this area it's just ok. The food was good - but served on styrofoam plates and somewhat sloppily served. Nevertheless the taste was good.
Recently while I was working in Calgary, a colleague brought me to Falafel King. First thing I must say is we have been here on several occasions and this restaurant can be VERY BUSY at lunch time. The Shawarma here is excellent, but I do agree with some of the reviews that it can be messy and hard to eat.... More
Not having much time or money, I tried the Falafel King and sure glad I did. The staff was extremely friendly and got to work right away making one of the best Shawarma's I have tried in Calgary! Falafel King also has many vegetarian options for the 'meat challenged' customer. Though I could not stay, there was ample seating for... More
I love eating here - the staff make you feel as if they know and remember you (even if they don't) and there is always a free piece of baklava with your order. The falafel and shawarma wraps are fantastic, filled with fresh salads and veggies. Go early to avoid the lunchtime rush!

Glad I did though, the food is fantastic & the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go back again. The only downside is that it was very busy, but I... More
We love this place...but only when the guys are doing the wrapping of the sandwiches...otherwise, the wrapping is too loose and the fillings fall out...this it makes it very hard to eat or enjoy. We usually pop out head in now to see who is doing the wrapping first before we order lunch. The ladies just need to tighten up... More
Delicious, if you like Shwarma or Donair, this is a delicious place to get something quick and good. Value is right up there. Service is friendly and the line ups can be long at lunch.
