I would never recommend them I went once before and ordered chicken tenders they we're awful .This time I got the chicken sandwich it was so tiny and tasteless also and fries they were ice cold I sent them back they still were cold don't...think they even bothered giving me fresh ones . I think the place is very expensive for what you get ..No excuse for cold food I got in just a few minutes after they opened up I think they gave me food leftover from the night before and they never ever said they were sorry 😣 so I give them a huge zero .More
Am staying at the airport for a few days on business. I absolutely love Chick-fil-a but the closest one to my place is 12h away. I figured since this is the only one in Canada it would be a real treat. Service was good, food...came out very quickly, (chicken was already prepared, I saw them make the sandwiches). I decided on the classic Chick-fil-a sandwich, (2 of them actually). Overall they were a great imitation, but an imitation none the less. Breading was as crispy or tasty, chicken was about the same, bun was about the same as were the pickles. Not sure what the real issue was but it just didn't compare to the ones I had in the US. This works for a fix, but really its probably going to leave you wanting the real thing.More
We are originally from Georgia/Florida and loooove us some Chick-fil-A so on our way to or from the Rockies from Edmonton we always try to pop in!! It’s a bit of a trip to park (and pay for parking!) just for chicken sandwiches and waffle...fries but WE DONT CARE. Yum!! Go!!More
Omg I was sooo excited to see an actual chick-fli-A in Canada!!! I’m a huge fan having grown up in Georgia US eating at the original CFA there as a boy. What’s not to love about that pressure fried chicken which keeps it moist. Hand...battered and Fried in peanut oil, dropped onto a fresh bun with exactly two pickle slices, always on the bottle and just overlapping. They have chicken sandwiches down to a perfected science. gotta live this cross cut waffle fries too. Dip them in that manna from heaven known as chic-Fil-A sauce ..... mmmm the best! You Canadians need to try this eh? They are the mist profitable fast food chain in the US and that is with them being closed in Sundays! Give me an Amen!More
How can you ever go wrong with Chick-Fil-A? But, just off the plane and starving, I grabbed some always good Chick-Fil-A and felt like I was on my way home from work, not out of town. Great clean location, and excellent staff.
A rarity in Canada, this Chick fil la was Located before security this location was conveniently located by rental entrance/exit. Staff was super friendly. Store was well kept.
I really liked Chik-Fil-A when I tried it in Atlanta before so I was thrilled when I saw it at Calgary Airport. The chicken burgers were as good as I remembered! The fillet was tasty as it is with no need for added condiments, although...the honey mustard sauce did make it taste better.More
We have loved chick fil-A since we lived in the South and were so excited to see it in Alberta! During our mini vacay to Calgary from Edmonton we went to the airport specifically to eat here. Haha! It was with it. Mmmm. Service is...a bit pathetic but it’s the airport so....More
As an airport staffer I try to support the local purveyors. But Host foods fail miserably once again!, and in doing so taint the reputation of this franchise. As we are tight on our break times I opted to try the breakfast biscuit and only...the breakfast biscuit, it took 15 minutes to get it with no orders ahead of mine. The family that ordered after me became concernef that they'd be late for check in and commented to me "So much for fast food" But the kicker and most disturbing and disgusting part of this tale was the server only having one glove on, wiping her nose with the ungloved hand then handling the buns of orders with the ungloved hand!!!! Are you kidding, my stomach turned but no time to complain as i was running late getting back to work. Hope the health department checks it out soon. Sad representative of the Chik Fil a chain.More
Been waiting for chik fil a to come to Canada. Went to try for the first time in Canada today. Excitement soon turn to disappointment. Nope, nothing to do with the food, the food was great. More to do with the hygiene of the workers....Found a curly black hair trapped between the Styrofoam cup and the lid. Not going back there again. Wish management could hire people with better hygiene consciousness.More
We love Chick-fil-a and was pleasantly surprised to see it at the airport. They were short-staffed and it took at least 15 mins to get on sandwiches. I'm glad we were not too rushed to catch our flight. The meal was good, but took entirely...too long.More
Dropped into the counter at YYC and ordered their deluxe, and found it really quite good. Mine was made to order, with a large lightly breaded chicken breast, served hot and juicy. Great counter service too.
I was in the Calgary airport for a day and a half waiting for a rescheduled flight and was able to sample the limited menu a couple of times. The chicken nuggets weren't that great but with the Chick-Fil-A sauce they were really good. The...waffle fries were disappointing too. Despite asking for them well done, they still weren't crispy. However, the chicken burger was probably the best fast food chicken burger I've ever had. Next time I am in Calgary I will get another one for sure!More
Unfortunately the great food has to be tempered by the misleading advertising. Starting with the good. The chicken sandwich bun was soft and fresh. The chicken itself was crispy and moist. Food was great. The sign says the combo comes with a pop or a...tea, plus waffle fries. When I asked for a tea I was told it was an upcharge. I pointed to the sign and read it while the cashier looked at it. He ignored the sign and still wanted to upcharge...really!...cancelled the combo and ate the chicken sandwich!More
