Great to experience traditional poutine in Edmonton. I'd heard that to be real poutine you had to feel the cheese squeak and this did not disappoint!!! I struggled to pay because they didn't accept my non-Canadian debit card (they say no credit cards) and that...More

Very skimpy with gravy and cheese curds on both of our poutines. It was basically just fries with a few bacon bits on top.

Even though I am not a fan of the cheese curds they do cook up a yummy tray of fries and gravy. They were located at the Wednesday Southwest market and I thought I would try their poutine out.

The best thing about the vegan poutine is that it doesn't taste like vegan food, it is flavorful and filling. I just wish I could get delivery to the SW of the city.

On a snowy April day, we were in the area and opted for this place for lunch. A tiny venue with a few seats and a menu limited to Poutine (but many varieties), it has always been our go to. This day was no different....More

As every Canadian knows, yes, you can screw up poutine. Fortunately these guys do it right. I'm firmly in the traditional camp (fries, cheese curds, and gravy, nothin' fancy), but there are lots of variants on the menu if you're interested.

I've gone to La Poutine a handful of times since they've opened, and I have to say the quality of the food has decreased over time. They have a great selection of poutines, but the flavor of the gravy and quality of ingredients has been...More
