We love this restaurant. I'm in Edmonton every couple of months and I ALWAYS work in a stop to Al Salam. I have never eaten something I don't like. Their garlic sauce is the best I have ever eaten. I am a middle eastern foodie and cannot get enough of the fresh pita, fattoush, and Garlic sauce among other things.... More

We eat here frequently with our children. They love the fresh pita bread and the akawi ajeen (cheese pizza). I always order the chicken shwarma platter and everything is fresh and tasty every time. The garlic sauce is incredible and so is the hummus. The waitstaff changes a lot but they are always friendly and the food comes fast. We... More

Got the Zartar and meat pie. Pretty decent. I would go for breakfast. They also have some wicked options of middle eastern groceries.

Falafel is pretty good. Although a horrible man works here, he has horrible customer service and was unbelievably rude to me, even the lady who was also working there apologized for him. He is the one who makes the wraps, with the thick moustache, I asked for extra tzatziki sauce, he got really mad and almost refused, then he said... More

Dirty place, awful food, disgusting restaurant, the owner is a thief! Don't go there, that's not what Lebanese food is about!

Authentic shawarmas and other Mediterranian food. Reasonably priced until you get to the till and they add the drinks and extras! The bill lacks clarity and the person at till gets angry if you ask.

I always pass by this place on the way to Memory Express. I decided to pop in for some hummus and pita to go. Wow, the hummus was awesome (a bit pricey, but well worth it...you get what you pay for is my motto), and the pita was very good too, and very reasonably priced! I will be back to... More

After reading previous review, I wonder if it was us just having an "off" night. We didn't have the best experience the 1 time we went here. A friend recommended this place to us as we were looking for a local Mediterranean/lebanese/turkish place with value for money. When we walked in for dinner, the place was empty-we were the only... Have eaten here a few times and it has been consistently delicious each time. The beef shwarma platter is my go to choice with an appetizer of hummus. The garlic sauce is amazing!! Filling and good value for the money. I always buy a pkg of their fresh handmade pitas to take home and some tzatziki.

My family and I have been going to Al Salam for many years. The food is why we keep going back. Although the restaurant itself is nothing special in terms of decor, the food and service make up for it. The same chef has worked there for years and never disappoints us with our favorite chicken schwarma platter. Their pitas... More
