I had pretty much stopped eating here, but gave it a try again recently and think I'll keep going back. Not sure if it's under new management, but the staff were friendlier, the food was good again and the surroundings were cleaner and more comfortable. Something has changed and I'm pleased. Note that it's on 118 Street, not Avenue.

My Co workers went to the jasper ave location. A 3 minuet walk away. The fries I got were undercooked and over salted. I threw them away. My Co worker enjoyed her pita. But they only gave her one pita bread for a fairly large sized container of hummus. The garlic hummus itself, was disgusting. There was no flavour whatsoever.... More

If you're out on the town and need some comforting food for your belly or just plain hungry- La Shish Taouk is definitely the place to go! The food is fresh, very well prepaired and tasty to the max! The portions are outrageously large so most of the times you'll end up with a take out if you're brave enough... More

We had a friend visiting from out of town and she wanted Lebanese food so we ended up here due to a recommendation from a few in our party. It was great we could make a reservation for 6 on a weekday afternoon. Arriving at 5PM, there was 2 other tables occupied and we were seated by the windows. The... More

Dined at Mayfield location and ordered the combo shawarma plate. Restaurant was packed with extremely loud apparent Christmas party with kids screaming and running wild everyday playing with noisy whistles. Not the fault of the establishment but perhaps if having a large private function they should consider closing. Certainly made the bad food even less enjoyable. Not at all what... More

My dinner partner and I were both very disappointed in our first and last meal here. I had the falafel and he had the chicken shawarma and both left much to be desired. Looking at the positives, service was friendly and fast.

Staff: waitress was friendly. Owner very friendly and goes to tables to check in on you. Service: it was empty when we went (maybe 4 tables in use). So service was fast. Establishment: nice and big and open. They smoke shisha there but you don't really smell it throughout. Family orientated - booster seats available! Food: pictures on menu look... More

Excellent place for work gatherings with very attentive and friendly service. The menu was extensive and easy to understand with a lot of good explanations and colorful photos of the plates. The food itself, I had kibbe and falafels but also tried the baba ganoush and arayess and didn't find one thing that wasn't tasty and flavorful. Good spicing, nice... More
