Nice view over the lake if you eat some food. Unfortunately there are too much people at this place. But if you there a little bit later, most of other tourists are on the trip back to their hotels or campgrounds. At the evening a lovely place.

What a surprise. Tourist food that was not disappointing. Good soups and sandwiches. A special strength in the baking department--we put together an Afternoon Tea for our little group by selecting Eccles cakes, butter tarts, Naimaio bars, etc., that we doubt were trucked in. Maybe made on site? Cafeteria style. Several decks outside for enjoying the gorgeous scenery. Adjoins a... More

Had a nice Hot Soup with crusty bread, just the thing for a wet day. They had a great variety to choose from, just grab a tray , choose what you want and pay the cashier at the end, find a table and enjoy. Just beware of the squirrels, they humbug. The sign say's DO NOT FEED THE SQUIRRELS... try... More

Fairly usual tourist cafe at Lake Maligne but it is the location that makes the excellent rating - however the bowl of soup was also excellent

We reached here on our coach tour from Jasper, in time for an early lunch prior to a boat trip on the lake. There were no queues, although later on some queues had built up. The building houses a gift and souvenir shop as well as the cafe/restaurant, which operates a counter service. From the wide range of choices we... More

We popped in here after canoeing on the Lake and we expected mediocre food and expensive prices. We were therefore highly suprised to have a choice of soup, clam chowder and vegetarian chilli. My husband had the chowder, I had the chilli, we each had a couple of rolls and a drink, plus a large cookie and a s'more. The... More

Stopped off here for a coffee and cake. Muffins were really fresh and the hot chocolate was hot and not warm as we've had in most places. Clean restrooms too.

When visiting Maligne Lake, this is the only option if you want some refreshments. We had coffees here which, despite the isolation of the place, were reasonably priced.

We drove out here to see Maligne Lake and discovered this was the only place to eat!! The weather was beautiful that day so we chose to sit outside and have an ice cream and a coffee - wonderful scenery!! The soups looked good, too!!
