We went to this restaurant twice. Once because it was the only restaurant in that area on the side of the road that might have gluten free for our daughter and the second time because it does and it was really good. Our kids loved the Dutch Pannenkoek which they do gluten free. Adults had the Ruben, Shawarma, Burger and... More

We stopped at the Amsterdam Restaurant, on Calgary! The service was impeccable! (genuine server who had great suggestions about menu) The food was fresh and very tasty. I had the Eggs benedict and my wife had a dutch delicacy, together with the dutch stroop very good. Love to come back to Kamloops and visit this restaurant again.

One of the best places to have brunch in Kamloops! Amazing dishes with a lot of add ins Everything tastes amazing and it will fill you up even if you a big man like me. However, this place doesnt have the best coffee, which sucks :(

Great Reuben sandwich with house made bread and stellar pea soup. My wife had the avocado Blt and Caesar salad both great well. A true road trip score on the way to Calgary. We will be back.

Sweet offerings with fruit and whipped cream. Had a panakoek (a thick crepe or a thin pancake) with fresh fruit, dusted with icing sugar and a side of whipped cream. Previously had a salmon eggs benedict that was uninteresting.

We were stuck in Kamloops for three hours with car trouble on our way to Vancouver. The Nissan dealer suggested that we take the free shuttle over to Amsterdam Restaurant for some lunch while we were waiting. The place is a bit old, but traditional. The servers were very friendly and prompt My wife had the soup of the day... More

The only time this little gem of a restaurant falters is on a celebratory day like a Stat or perhaps, mothers day, fathers day etc.... When they get too busy, then things start to go wrong. When we have gone, this gem is consistently good foodwise and service is excellent!

I went in for something different after reading a few reviews. Many conventional breakfast items and then there are the pannenkoek ones. All very good sounding. I had the Amsterdam Pannenkoek which was savoury and included an assortment including hollandaise. Very good. The service also very good. The Pannenkoek tend to be priced a little high. Suggest you go in... More

Stopped here for b/fast in July. Basic good clean joint, good food, good size helpings, good staff and a reasonable price. If you look out onto the highway and slightly to your right you will see a bald eagle that sits in this tree.
