This place has fantastic Indian cuisine. The food is absolutely exquisite and fresh. If you like East Indian food, make time to try this specialty shop.

This may come as a shock but apparently some readers have difficulty interpreting the opening comments of my reviews. Many of them just want a “yes” or “no” recommendation in place of my customary preamble. So let me cut through the clever word play and self-important grandstanding and get to the point regarding Aruntha's Ceylon Garden. Is it good? No.... More

I found everything awesome here...the service is a bit slow but it is worth it..aruntha cooks the food with real heart and the waitress serves it with a big smile....the food is delicious..especially the butter chicken...

I have eaten at this restaurant many times. I love East Indian food in general but this is very different from the standard Punjabi meals. There is an extremely wide selection on the menu, all of which seem to be good. The service is not the fastest - best for people who want to come, drink, talk, eat and enjoy.... More

OK, let's begin with the admission that I'm not loving PG. So maybe I just have attitude. I was very hopeful when I went to this place. I'd heard/read very good things. I walked in and found that, like the town itself, there is no atmosphere in this place. OK, nbd, I'm there to eat, not sight-see. The waitress seemed... More

We live 3 hours away from PG and had our weekend planned. We had looked forward to dinner at Aruntha's as we wanted to try something different and read all the reviews plus several of our friends had recommended it. After a week of anticipation we arrived for dinner only to find it closed. I had called ahead to see... More

This little place continues to surpass all of our expectations, both for take out and eat in. Recently we hosted a party to which Arunthas Ceylon Garden catered all the food and it was another raving success, the authenticity and quality will rival any well known metropolitan restaurant. If you are at home in Prince George or travelling through, you... More

Left PG a few years ago and came back to a "changed" Spicy Green. What happened? Was told to go to Curry Kingdom. Not nearly the same as the fresh and wonderfully flavourful meals I had when Spicy Green first opened. Imagine my joy when I was told that Aruntha (original cook at Spicy Green) had re-opened the defunct Spicy... More

This place is a hidden gem. Food is delicious, cooked fresh and authentic. I won't visit any other Indian restaurant.
