Great food for each meal, we loved eggs Benedict's, Caesar salad, soups, duck and steak. Great friendly staff highly recommended. Even during power break they did their best to serve you. View of the ocean is amazing!

It has been a year since I last visited The Wick and Pointe Restaurant. On this journey we only managed to have a drink (2 actually) soaking in the world famous sunset from the warm inviting restaurant and bar. Hand adzed wood with copper accents and the 360 degree fireplace in the middle of the dining area simply take your... More

Having heard nice things about the Wickaninnish Inn we popped in for a casual bite at the Pointe Restaurant. We were left puzzled about why anyone would go there. The room is great, with a beautiful view but that was about it. The service was actually dismal. I don't say that about many places but it was the most unfriendly,... More

For three dishes out of three, the fish served was not that mentioned on the menu. Although we mentionned it to the waitress and accepted the situation, no compensation was even proposed by the restaurant.

The Pointe restaurant at the Wickannanish is a beautiful spot for a couple breakfast or meal. It is open to the public and not only hotel guests, and so my partner and I decided to test it out. The view is fantastic as the restaurant is perched up on massive rocks that are bombarded by the intense waves of tofino.... More

We both opted for the 4-course Christmas dinner with wine pairings, so can't provide much guidance on the regular menu. Everything was very, very good and our server (Tece) was delightful. If forced to suggest something for improvement, I thought the bread selection could have been more interesting (but we did get 3 different kinds of bread in the basket,... More

The food is superb and the service is impeccable. My only complaint and this is a minor one is that the food service is a bit slow. But since the storm outside was raging and the fire inside was warm, the wait for our meals was only a minor inconvenience. it is difficult to get reservations for the restaurant so... More

A refined and interesting menu. Attentive and smooth service. Extensive wine selection which can get a bit costly but still a realistic range. Definitely worth coming to whether for the ambience or special occasion. The elk and suckling pig were both outstanding. A solid easy recommendation!

Surveying the panoramic vistas from the westernmost point of Tofino’s idyllic Chesterman Beach, The Pointe Restaurant’s Refined West Coast cuisine and attentive service come gift-wrapped with 240 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, surrounding islands and wildlife. Much of the fresh seafood is fished from the very waters overlooked by The Pointe, and a longstanding focus on locally sourced, high quality ingredients is evident. Dinner is offered on a seasonal à la carte menu, but for the best of the best, try Executive Chef Warren Barr's weekly tasting menu; Daily brunch is a true treat. Out of the ordinary desserts reflect an innovative Pastry program where most everything - from bread to butter to scrumptious chocolate croissants are housemade.
