We go here regularly for the vegetarian sandwich. The avocado, asiago, + vegetables in herb and cheese crusted focaccia is our favourite.

Terra Breads makes great coffee. A wonderful selection of bread. Staff are friendly. Service is good and fast. Large area to sit. Great place to socialize.

Stopped here for breakfast and had the avocado and hummus sandwich on toasted multigrain. The bread was nice and chewy and the fillings were wonderful. Will definitely be back for more!

Simply good food! The Savoury Focaccias were good to the last crumb! tomato pesto and black olive and tomato were equally delicious.

I love going into terra breads because the service is always friendly and the coffee is always good. The breads and desserts are also very nice however my biggest complaint is with the breads I sometimes buy. When I do buy their green olive loaf which is just about 6$, I expect to pay for "bread" and not the huge... More

As European I struggle finding good bread in Canada. But I absolutely love the anise-fig loaves that I've found in Terra. I can bike for half an hr, just to get some;) I love their two locations: False Creek: i get my treat and a dark roast coffee to go and just enjoy it while walking down the seawall (store... More

It was better before but I'm just finding the quality going down after it started expanding. Their bread now in my opinion is no longer better or even at par with other bakeries like pure bread or COBS. Oh well.

A must. We had the brioche cinnamon pecan bun the peach tart and chocolate coconut macaroon and the coconut macaroon. Have to say the range of breads and sweet treats were amazing and the queues at time unbelievable but gone in no time. Excellent produce.

This bakery in Granville Island Market sells fresh baked pastries. We enjoyed the butter croissant and cinnamon roll; we did not enjoy the sourdough foccacia with apple slices. Seating is available at common areas in the market.

One of my favorite places on Granville Island, Terra Breads bake the most amazing breads and scones. I always grab a Apricot/Ginger scone but I would highly advise to have them make up one of there wonder sandwiches for lunch. Fight the crowds to get here as it is worth the wait.

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
