We went a rather roundabout way to find this place and it was a cold day with a bitter wind but it was amazing! Sustainable sourced and caught fish-and you really can taste the difference! It was really wonderful! Not sure if our short wait is because the four guys serving were really quick or if it was because the... More

Fried fish at its best. Really great fish and chips, gotta say, best I've had. Had to sit outside and it was cold and raining (that time of year) but the little deck they had was covered. I like it.

The food is very good. But the guys behind the counter are obnoxious and immature - loud and laughing at their own jokes. What poor ambassadors for sustainable seafood. I think the owners could find better staff!

Today was halibut fish and chips, best I've ever had! Locating this place was a little confusing at first but it's actually a small place located at the end of 1st avenue on your right side. Parking is good for maybe 10 cars, outdoor seating only but awesome food and the staff is very friendly, eh!

The food is delicious. Their location is spectacular. I have been there few times and there was almost always a lineup (that is how good it is). Service is good. In summertime it is great to go there as you can sit outside and they have a nice large communal natural wood table.

Went to Go Fish on the weekend and had a delicious fresh fish lunch. Outdoor seating with some covered areas, on the wharf so very casual for kids. The crew was rowdy but fun. Will go again.

I went to this place a couple of times. What can I say, the fish and chips are delicious. There is other tasteful plates on the menu thqt I wanted to try but each time I end up with the fish and chips.

My mother and I came to Go Fish well after the lunch rush. The location is an ideal place for one to enjoy fresh seafood. There are also opportunities, before or after, eating out to walk around Granville Island Public Market. Go Fish offers a menu with an item that is called “tacones”. Red Fish Blue Fish in Victoria, BC... More

I was in town on business and a friend recommended this place so I tried it for lunch. I am not a huge fish person but this was the best fish n chips ever. You could tell it was super fresh and perfectly fried. I got the 2 pieces of cod with chips. I thought the price was very reasonable... More

Go Fish is a definite stop-off spot when visiting Granville Island in Vancouver. There is always a line-up and a wait for food; 30 minutes is about normal, but it's worth it. The fish and chips is always very popular and very fresh; you need a big appetite because the pieces of fish are very generous and they give you... More

One of the favoured neighbourhoods for a day out, Granville Island's packed theatres and art studios, hobby shops and book stores, restaurants and bars, all offer a plethora of activities and entertainment options, leaving no one bored. The highlight of the area is the Fisherman's Wharf, where the seagulls overhead and the smell of the sea invigorate its many visitors, some of who are there to shop the fresh wares at the public market, and others of whom have arrived to take in the eclectic atmosphere.
