We were sorely disappointed with the +45min wait time for our fish and salad. While we were advised on ordering there would be a 20-30min wait, this is ridiculous! Would not recommend this food vendor unless you have ample time to waste.

Our friends who have been visiting Vancouver every summer for over 10 years took us here. We walked from the West End over the Burrard Street Bridge, a great walk! Got to the restaurant a little before it opened and got in line behind maybe...More

I would give this place a pass, as in don't bother. It had gotten a good bit of buzz so we went there. We waited in line at lunchtime for about 20 minutes to order and then another 30+ minutes to get our food. One...More

As if it wasn't bad enough that the lady at the till didn't inform anyone that the wait would be 40 mins (turned into close to an hour) until after we had lined up for 20mins and paid, the kitchen staff had the audacity to...More

Well-made fish and crispy chips....yum. I had the cod; my wife had the halibut. Both excellently prepared and well-worth the 30 minute wait. The order taker is a gem. She must be a psychotherapist when not taking orders at Go Fish. She kept the crowd...More

We went in for a late lunch. My wife had Salmon tacones and Cole slaw and I had a Sushi grade Tuna with wasabi, Ponzu sauce, and greens. We had a short 15 minute wait for our food. Food was delicious and tasty.

The fish was done just right. The fish was fresh and battered properly. Some places will either have the batter so heavy and barely any fish inside. Others will have a good size fish but undercooked. We ordered this food for my two year old...More

I would put this rating somewhere between very good and excellent but came down on the side of excellent due to it being such good value. This is mainly a lunch venue with all outdoor seating and closes around 18:00. We ate just before they...More

Visited in August on a trip to Granville Island markets. Walk off the 'Island and turn right along the sea walk for five minutes. Well known 'take-away' for locals. There is outside seating and picnic tables. Very popular and usually a queue; try when quieter....More

So when I first visited in 2015, Go Fish was as close to perfection for Fish & Chips as I could find in this great country of ours, and with a family visit imminent in the area, I took the chance to revisit, just to...More

WOW! I am surprised to hear that the service was rated as poor. I have only been three times but I live here and it's absolutely great food. It's basically a take-out wagon and they have a 45-60 minute line-up at peak times... More
