We chose a Wednesday around six thinking we'd beat the crowd as this spot is small and we heard it fills up fast. Well, it did. We were able to get two stools at the bar overlooking the kitchen, which in hindsight was the best spot to sit and chat and not feel the pressure of every table being full... More

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim after walking around for an hour deciding where to eat, and hands down of the best decisions we have made. He got the cowboy steak plate and I got the enchiladas with chicken. I suggest ordering more taco shells with both! The mango margarita was actually made with real mango!!

This used to be a place where you could eat very well very late with good friends so the place was always packed and merry. We were told there is new management which means that the kitchen closes at midnight. As a result the place is now deserted. The vibe is all gone. The rating from 5 to 1.

I went here for dinner with a friend of mine and we loved it! We both ordered the ceviche and it was absolute heaven - so fresh and the flavours were lovely. The tacos were really good too, I had a fish one and my friend a chicken one. We finished of sharing a chocolate brownie that had a bit... More

Here again. Such a great place good quality food and drinks. Staff are so nice and the joint is packed every weekend. The menu has changed a bit lately and some lower priced food items. Not surprising to get an umbrella in my Cadillac marg. it's perfect $13.

I come her every chance i get, one of my absolute favorite spots in the city. The food is on point, the drinks are strong and well made, and the service is excellent. Better than any other mexican joint in the city, IMO.

Food is chef made as you can see they are pro's in open kitchen... not like every other mexican family place. Drinks are made with fresh muddled fruit. over the top experience. must visit. go early or super late because its always busy

We didn't know what to expect when we went to Lolita's other than it was a favourite of the staff at the hotel where we stayed. It's small but that lends to it's atmosphere. We ordered the Turkey Tostadas and they were really very good. There was no need to add any side orders. The food was presented nicely, very... More

Lolita's is a fun local tequila bar. They have an amazing number of tequilas in every style. We did not eat there, but the food looked to be good. A fine place to stop if you are in the West End.

It's all about the tacos and drinks here. Good vibes and fun times! Tables are a bit close for our liking. It if you have a group of four it isn't so bad. Or get the high top at the front. Generally the service is great, busy nights it's sometimes hit or miss. Cocktails creep up on you here but... More

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
