All the positive reviews lived up to the hype! At first my husband and I were weary of seared sushi but once we tried the salmon oshi, it blew our minds! Incredibly delicious and would recommend! We sat at the bar because we didn't have...More

Really lovely dinner here for our last night in Vancouver. We sat at the bar and enjoyed edamame, scallops, calamari & premium nigiri. The scallops and nigiri were definitely the highlight. The wait staff were friendly and helpful and suggested wine suited to the cuisine....More

Went ladt night for a late dinner. Was easily accessible and did not have a wait (other than the party in front of us being difficult about not booking a spot for 7 to sit.) Once seated staff was very attentive and helpful. The sushi...More

Came here with my daughter at her choice to try this different but exquisite type of sushi. I would certainly recommend it.

Great restaurant in a great location. Not your typical sushi. Lots of variety and experimentation with the presentation. I think it is the best sushi in town.

We arrived in Vancouver to visit family and attend the Fan Expo Vancouver (Comic Expo) a little late and we had eaten at Miku before and wanted to repeat a previous positive experience. The Bellmen at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel called ahead and they...More

My husband and I treated ourselves to a night out on the town including a nice meal (sans our two children) which doesn't happen often! When deciding which restaurant we would dine at, we wanted to make the most of our romantic evening and choose...More

This restaurant was stylish with exceptional service and an amazing view. The sushi and rolls were probably the freshest and most delicate I’ve ever had. Each bite melted like butter in my mouth. The sake selection was brilliant. I can’t wait to return.

The food was good, but different. Miku specializes Aburi style, which uses flames to sear the fish. I prefer more traditional sushi (nigiri). The traditional sushi cut at Miku was very average and not impressive. I believe the cut and quality of the sushi is...More

Dined at Miku for a business meeting. Was a great place to enjoy good food and good conversation. A hot tip to all diners is to just order their signature sushi as everything after it disappoints. The secret ingredients melt in your mouth.

We specialize in Aburi, or flamed-seared sushi, which was developed nearly a century ago in Japan. The act of applying fire directly to sushi enhances the natural flavours and textures of the fish, creating a new and exciting culinary experience. Miku owner Seigo Nakamura innovated the Aburi concept by crafting specialty sauces using non-traditional Japanese ingredients to pair with each type of fish. The light sear from the binchotan (Japanese bamboo charcoal) caramelizes the sauce, releasing a smoky aroma and bringing out the finest flavours in each piece of Aburi sushi. Miku Restaurant is within walking distance from the Pan Pacific Hotel, Canada Place, Fly Over Canada, Cruise Ship Terminals and Sea Bus.
