Was in Vancouver for work and stopped in for a bite as it was a short walk from my hotel. Funky little spot with a fun atmosphere. Had an excellent grilled cheese.

Great little place for an easy and tasty lunch. Not a huge range on the menu (roughly 4/5 sandwiches) with soups and salads but all very tasty. Very popular so sometimes you have to wait for seating, but well worth it.

Very busy place at lunchtime. Some interesting and different kinds of ingredients. Delicious sandwich, but bring your $$$. Not a lot of indoor seating, it seems like sa popular place for locals/working people to grab a sammie for takeout.

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's

Yes they serve alcohol. I have had craft beers there and I noticed cider. I can't say what other options are on the menu.

We make sandwiches that are high quality, of good value, and prepared with skill as well as heart. The essence of our food simple, fast, delicious is the foundation of Meat & Bread. Our first shop opened its doors in 2010 in the historic Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver, Canada, and, since then, we have opened another shop in Vancouver as well as in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighbourhood and in downtown Calgary’s historic Grain Exchange building.
