This place has been around for a while and is still one of the best place to get near perfect ice cream. Very informal and often crowded, but worth it.

There are so many options at Mario's!! It can be very hard to choose. I've been here a number of times and I've never been disappointed. The gelato is very creamy and always hits the spot. I just can't do it that often and still fit into my clothes!

There are so many flavors here, it's overwhelming. They have an amazing array of ice cream treats, and many are dairy free. A fantastic ice cream experience. Go.

I have had his ice cream since his days in Granville Island and he is still one of the best in Vancouver. I try others but come back here.

We went in for some gelato before we dropped our friend at the airport. We all had different flavors. They are all tasty depending on your tastes. Nice flavorful tastes and options.

This is one of the best ice cream parlors I ever knew ! "Hundreds" of kinds of ice cream, it was difficult to decide for one or two because the scoops are so huge that I couldn't cope with more. So I had to come almost every day and my favorites were Black Sesame (SO yummy !) and some absolutely... More

Mario's has been a favourite of mine since I was a kid and while a ton of other ice cream shops have popped up and disappeared over the years, Mario's has outlasted them all. And for good reason. Great quality gelato at great prices and a variety of flavours and types. You really can't go wrong.

Not the prettiest ice cream parlor, but selections are always good. Delicious. Grab a cone, and walk along the seawall!

Southeast False Creek
Developed alongside the Vancouver Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Games, a past fraught with hardship has recently been overcome, and builders are changing the landscape on the ground of Southeast False Creek at a rapid pace. With waterfront dining, ultra-modern facilities, sports stadiums, and a load of greenery, parks, and rest spots built into the ever-changing infrastructure, it's a fast-paced and mutable spot to see Vancouver taking shape and making history. It is especially popular for the casual sportsman, as the Seawall on the water makes for one of the most scenic locations for cycling or roller-blading, jogging or strolling.
