We have been coming here for years and feel that the food has gotten better recently? More care to details/ingredients or a better chefs? In any event, Happy Hour is good value at $4 Beverages/Appies. Enjoy the Roti Canai and the Samosas. Weak dishes would be the Prawns. Staff are friendly and prices reasonable. Good luck and enjoy! Bookable on... More

Been here several times since they opened a few years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed my dining experiences here. Food's good, comes out at a good speed, and atmosphere's great. The manager (Scott) is very passionate about what he does and always makes it a point to speak with diners.

It claimed to be a Malay restaurant. You have been fooled. It has nothing to offer that is close to Malay food. Maybe it can fool the Canadians but not me. The roti canai is like plastic. The curry could have just taken out from a can. The curry is sweet and suits Western diners and little real spice to... More

Ok so you want to have authentic Malaysian cuisine or at least close to authentic. This is not the place and let me share with you, why not !. My wife n I went for lunch - first visit. Ambience is not quite Malaysian but why should it not be . Anyways, prior to this first visit , we had... More

This was our first visit to this for us hitherto unknown Malaysian restaurant. Large variety of tasty food, warm ambience, soft background music, pleasant service, good clean washrooms - we were all very pleased and will definitely return.

We are often leary of trying Malaysian food in North America as it often does not live up to our memories of eating at the hawker centers in Singapore. Kaya did not disappoint us! We had laksa and char kway teow and thought both dishes could have come straight from Singapore. We would totally recommend this place.

Rush, Rush, Rush! That was all I recall of the experience we had. We had less than an hour for dinner at the fairly empty restaurant and all we felt was rushing us out. There is a difference between prompt service and making customers feel rushed when they want to enjoy a relaxed dinner. Whilst we had finished our dishes... More

Kaya's interior is very simple both in design and colors as it seems the focus is on the food. The restaurant has the capacity to cater to small intimate rendezvous to large gatherings of friends and family. Fusion malaysian dishes made of a medley of amazing ingredients and spices you can taste with each bite. With a group of friends... More

Yet another middling effort. Staff pleasant, ambience OK but with large screen "idiot box" on and prominent. Lamb roti decent enough. Hot and sour soup, gruel.
