We asked at the hotel desk what was a good restaurant close by and they recommended the Dinesty. We were not disappointed but were lucky to get a table. It was very busy and it was only a Tuesday night. Suggest booking just in case.

We had dinner at Dinesty which, quite frankly, was the best meal we had in Vancouver. Even though we had no reservations they were able to seat us before the evening rush. Soup dumplings were to die for, and the smoked duck was divine. Service...More

This modern Taiwanese bistro offers delish handmade dumplings and noodles, I however would just stick to the dumplings. The pork soup dumplings are delicate and yummy. Pork & shrimp sui ma and fried shrimp & chive dumplings are very good. Another fav is their moo...More

All the food was good but the soup dumplings were particularly excellent - we are kinda NYC chauvinists but the soup dumplings here were as good - or better (!) - than anything we've had in NYC. Highly recommend. Clearly a popular local family eatery...More

We only stopped because it looked fairly busy and we were getting hungry so we decided to pop in. We ordered a portion of the pork soup dumplings and the green onion pancakes. Being Shanghainese I had some fairly high expectations and this restaurant mostly...More

I had a crave for dumplings, just like Din Tai Fung ones. This place was recommended has being similar. Pork soup dumplings and pan-fried pork dumpling stickers were really good. Green vegetables & egg ones were fine. However, the dumpling variety is limited. The spring...More

Yes, they take reservations. And I recommend making one as it's a popular (and worth it) restaurant.
