We were staying in the hotel so wanted to check out the revolving restaurant. The hostess seemed quite put out and told us we had to stay in her line of sight? We wound up staying for a drink which was fine. The view was the reason to stay.

Meal is not up to much. It was so dark inside [they have stars on the ceiling to give you the 'feeling of being in the heavens'] that the waiter had to bring the card machine so I could read the menu. Quite fun looking over Vancouver in the dark. But - bottom line: food is over priced for the... More

It was a really lovely surprise to be taken up to this venue by a colleague while I was visiting Vancouver. The seating was comfortable, the ambience calm and relaxing, and the view of the night-time city out of this world. You could see the Lion's Gate Bridge, the harbour, Grouse Mountain, Stanley Park, and the downtown landmarks, and the... More

Spectacular views of the cbd, mountains and water way..... We went in the evening and it was very quiet.... We had drinks only so cannot comment on the food. Drinks were a little expensive but as expected for the location

Didn't meet our expectation but the view is spectacular and the staff are friendly. We will not be back at this restaurant.

We enjoyed an excellent evening out at Cloud 9 Revolving Restaurant! Located on top of the Landmark Hotel on Robson Street, in Downtown Vancouver. Too bad the building is slated for demolition in the next year. I highly recommend you head to it ASAP. With wonderful waitstaff, tasty food and 360* views of our lovely city, who could fault this... First off, veiws are stunning from up there and well worth a visit but only for drinks! Had soup and lamb shank for main which were below par for the price. Enjoyed my experience all the same.

We were staying in the hotel so we decided to try. Dinner was lovely, our server was great (Kelton?), and the food & wine were awesome. Only complaint was that it was a little dark. Breakfast on the other hand was not great. Buffet was cold and there was no selection, ridiculously overpriced and service was minimal at best. Will... More

No need to book, but you do need to have a seat, so you might have to wait a bit if it's busy. Amazing views, and no need to move about as the whole floor spins. Staff friendly, drinks good and not so expensive. Somewhat odd atmosphere with loads of people sitting around looking out the window!

Why the many negative reviews? Here's mine: Dined for dinner on a Fri. night in August with out-of-town guests. After reading some bad reviews, we decide to go for the experience of the 360 degrees view. We were amazingly surprised with the very fine service and the beautiful presentation of the various meals that we ordered. They arrived at our... More

Staying in Robson Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs.
