Amazing experience, absolutely delicious food, and great staff. We had the feature sablefish and a 20oz bone in new york striploin. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and made for one of the best meals we've had in years.

Went for a night out with friends and had an amazing experience. All the food was cook perfect and caramelize perfectly. All the servers we had knew menu well and were very helpful. The cheese toast was the favorite appetizer for sure. The seafood all...tasted very fresh and delicious. Been here 4 times and will be back again soon.More
We visited the Gotham Steakhouse to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. When booking online, special occasions were enquired about, but no special treatment was given from the restaurant during our visit. The servers are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu but upsell as much...as possible. We had their "very popular" cheese toasts, which were simply a slice of cheese, on toast! The fillet steaks, however, were amazing, as were the sides of broccoli, asparagus, and fries. Obviously we had researched the prices before booking, so when the bill came it wasn't a surprise, but $400 for one course and three drinks was not something we could afford to do regularly!More

This was a birthday dinner whilst visiting Vancouver. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive and engaging. The food was fantastic, could not fault at all. All in all an excellent evening!
The waiter was excellent, attentive, engaging. The steak was good, nothing outstanding. For this price, I'd expect a very wellged and outstanding meal.
Dropped in for lunch while visiting Vancouver. Promptly seated and our server arrived shortly. Service was friendly and very professional with good knowledge and advice on the menu. Steaks where super well prepared! 32 ounce bone in rib eye been fantastic. Sides where decently sized...and wine list well chosen, though some more new world Pinot noirs would be welcomed. Overall a fantastic experience.More
The restaurant is housed in a beautiful historic Art Deco building. The atmosphere can't be beat. The service is fabulous ... we felt our waiter was absolutely dedicated to our enjoying ourselves. The food was delicious. One caveat for Americans is they serve Canadian beef...which has a different taste from grain fed, prime USA beef.More
Great food Very Pricey. Service was top notch. Wine list was a extensive with knowledgeable sommelier. Was able to get same day reservations. Try the cheese toast. Out of this world
For those who know this is Comparable with Goodmans and Smith & Wollensky in London. It is a bit pricey but the food and wine was excellent. Also the sommelier advised on some really good white and red Canadian wines. The Porterhouse for two was...superb, would certainly re-visit.More
Gotham fits the bill for amazing food, a beautiful ambiance, and superb service. Though the steak is said to be the main attraction here, my husband and I chose to get the lamb and it was by far the best lamb chops we both have...ever had, hands down. Our appetizer of oysters fontina was so delicious (and huge oysters!), the Brussels sprouts and chorizo wonderful, and the creme brulee for dessert perfect! Service was spot-on with warm Canadian charm.More
Great atmosphere to meet up with friends. They have a nice selection of food and drink options. Better place in the summer to take advantage of their patio.
Fantastic cocktail bar. The lounge menu snacks were of fine dinning standards. We enjoyed the steak and prawn skewers, black and blue tuna and short rib sliders. The staff were super friendly, what a lovely experience. Definitely keen to come back and try the restaurant!
First time in Vancouver after a long flight from SoCal! TripAdvisor led me straight once again. Amazing meal and atmosphere ! For starters one of the best crab cakes I have ever had. East to west coast US, nothing beats is. The steak and mashed...potatoes were perfect. The wine selection is superb, and the Crème Brûlée was the iconography on the cake. But nothing on the menu beats the conversation and delivery with and from Ro! The best ever, could have sat all night talking. I will come back every time if she’s working! :)More
Carnivores rejoice! Gotham offers a superlative dining experience in an intimate setting matched by the outstanding quality of the food. Here are my 3 rules for Gotham. 1. Start with the cheese toast - ok, it’s not gluten free (my wife is a coeliac so...couldn’t enjoy it) BUT this appetiser will conjure nostalgic memories of grilled cheese but done in a modern way with 3 different cheeses. A must have. 2. Don’t be afraid to share - Gotham’s service staff will remind you that they offer “family” style where a couple of entrees can be placed in the centre of your table enabling everyone to share. 3. Trust the staff - our server Brandon was an integral part of the experience and offered suggestions and guidance on what to eat based on our preferences and also our dietary constraints. He liaised with the kitchen to ensure that no allergens were present and 24 hours later my wife has had no reaction. In summary - we started with cheese toast, delicious local oysters and soup of the day. Main course was the dry aged rib (bone in) and veal chop (also bone in). Sides were fries and asparagus and we finished with creme brulee. My only critique would be that the protein was served already sliced which facilitated sharing but also meant the meat cooled down a little more quickly. Overall it was a divine experience.More
