An old time diner with decent food. Prices were average, but portions were a bit anemic. We really enjoyed the gritty industrial neighbourhood Argo was located, as the cafe still retains a lot of its old school charm. The waitress and staff were very friendly and chatty, thus making our lunch visit much more enjoyable. We were disappointed to learn... More

Limited menu but decent selections. Basically a mixture of pasta, steak and burgers plus specials for the day. They do not have license for wine so maybe a problem for those who like to have something to match the food?

Currently working nearby and based on a review tried the Mexican poutine. Brilliant. Tasty and lots of it. Friendly and witty service as a diner should have. Clearly a going concern with a varied clientele. Will go back for more.

Sought out a small neighbourhood cafe for a late and light dinner with a friend. Stumbled on the Argo Cafe and was so glad we did! We shared the Mexican poutine and grilled cheese sandwich. Grilled cheese was just so-so...nothing to write home about. But the Mexican poutine was honestly one of the best twists on poutine I've ever had.... More

Good food, good prices and friendly staff! So far, I've tried their basic breakfast ($6.95) and their steak and eggs ($14.95). Both were delicious.👌🏼...looking forward to trying something off their lunch and dinner menus!

Stumbled across this place while staying in Olympic Village. The food was really tasty and very, very reasonably priced.

We didn't expect to find a genuine diner in Vancouver, but Argo is exactly that. The waitress was very friendly, and most of the other diners seemed like locals. We ordered simple chicken burgers, and they were good. Parking can be difficult.

My husband and I visited this little diner for a breakfast. It's located near the Olympic village in Vancouver. It was recommend by some work colleagues or else we would never have found it. Popped in to check this fun and funky little diner and was not disappointed It's very busy and for good reason. The food here is fantastic Duck on a dinner menu? Yes please! This was fine dinning food with diner prices and atmosphere.

Southeast False Creek
Developed alongside the Vancouver Olympic Village for the 2010 Winter Games, a past fraught with hardship has recently been overcome, and builders are changing the landscape on the ground of Southeast False Creek at a rapid pace. With waterfront dining, ultra-modern facilities, sports stadiums, and a load of greenery, parks, and rest spots built into the ever-changing infrastructure, it's a fast-paced and mutable spot to see Vancouver taking shape and making history. It is especially popular for the casual sportsman, as the Seawall on the water makes for one of the most scenic locations for cycling or roller-blading, jogging or strolling.
