Seriously if you've never been to Belgium then I guess you'd think this was authentic and great. I'm here to tell you it isn't. Like so many other wanna be restaurants in this city that try to be French, etc. They ALWAYS pale in comparison...More

Attending weekend sports at BC Place and chanced upon Chambar for brunch. Great coffee’s, food and service. Partner had superb veggie omlette and I had Gravaux Au Saumon which was also excellent. Took a look at the dinner menu and will return.

This place was hopping when we arrived, but we were seated promptly with a reservation. The only thing that bothered me was the staff being too attentive (if that’s a fault). But there are many strand every one of them walking by interrupted us to...More

We were there for a family dinner. Loved the vibe and decor. Service was excellent. And we all loved our food and cocktails. Recommend this place.

Waffles & a feature omelette accompanied with kale juice & mimosas made for a great start to our day. A little pretentious, but if you know what you’re getting yourself into perhaps not. Would come again dressed more appropriately for the environment.

Met a client here for lunch. Menu is broad and features some amazing go to items. Almost all include some sort of fresh salad or exotic veggies. Service was great and so was the food. Top shelf. Location is amazing. Just steps away from Chinatown...More

Interesting choice of food for breakfast made a nice change form the normal breakfast fare. Good service. Fair prices and the food came out promptly.

Our server at dinner the night before recommended we grab breakfast here. We ordered a couple waffles to start with chocolate and raspberry & caramel toppings. We decided that combining the sauces was the best way to go. The waffles were soft and sweet despite...More

They've done a great job with the space here as it's warm and inviting with the wood finishings. The place is bustling between the sound of lively conversations and the music, but not to the point of being frustrating. We enjoyed the items that we...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular

There is no formal dress code however they work their butt off in putting quality food in the plate and offer professional service so my philosophy is to not 'underdress". I had a suit no tie.

We make our bread fresh daily inhouse, if you can let me know the date you were in, and describe what you had and I'll see if I can get you a recipe. The starter is 40 years old and not something we can share.
