Had the chance of having dinner here on my business trip. We booked in advance and had a great dinner. Service and quality of food was brilliant! Price was definitely not reasonable, but for what you get for dining there, I'd say is totally worth...More

Nice, Lovely elegant restaurant and quiet atmosphere; good for a couple or a small group. In the middle of downtown but on a small cove-like location. Food is eclectic and I don't recall the menu right now.

We have dined here for years for special occasions. The food is always excellent in preparation and presentation The restaurant can be noisy, we ask for a "quiet" table .The service is generally impeccable although we have heard a few complaints but never had a...More

This place has rude customer service even though the food is delicious, as if they know they are good so take it or leave it attitude. The GM would rather argue with customer and tell them they are at fault over a $19 dish, just...More

Dinner with friends. I love French cuisine and this dinner was pretty good. Topped with the foi gras it was even better. It was quite a noisy environment though, which was surprising. Lots of hustle and bustle no sound dampening.

This is one of my favorite gems in the city of Vancouver. Traditional French cuisine with impeccable quality and succulent fare. The service is also 'superb'! I love the Lobster bisque and have been many times for anniversaries! Highly recommend this cosy little piece of...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

No, but most diners I observed were very smartly dressed.
I was at Le Crocodile recently and had an excellent experience. I am planning to return again soon and wanted to ask the regular diners here if there is anything on the menu that I absolutely need to try. On my last visit, we had the tomato avocado crab salad, the truffle pasta special to start, then the special sable fish and the dover soles for mains. Dessert was the special apple tartin and Gateau au Chocolat Moelleux. Loved it all. So if you have any other favorites or recommendations that I must try .. please let me know :)

If they have seared foie gras, go for it. I had the delicious scallops with black ink pasta. Anything is good and if you don't like it, they will fix it!
